Biography
Michael joined The Johnson Sauer Legal Group, LLC as an associate in March of 2011. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Colorado in 2009. He is licensed to practice in the state of Colorado and the Federal Bankruptcy Court.
Michael has earned a Bachelors of Science in Information and Telecommunications Systems Management from Ohio University and a Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He spent his final year of school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and he is currently earning his L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver.
While in law school Michael worked as a law clerk for The Attorney General’s Office, Charitable Trusts Division. He also clerked for The John Marshall Law School’s Fair Housing and Fair Lending Clinic where he was awarded the Thelma Borger Hilst Scholarship, which is awarded to students who demonstrate excellence in family law studies. Upon graduation from law school Michael began practicing as an estate-planning attorney in downtown Denver. He then took a position in Parker, Colorado, practicing in the areas of bankruptcy and family law before being brought on as an associate at Johnson Sauer Legal Group LLC.
Michael is very active in the community and he is very dedicated to the practice of family law. He is committed to 100% client satisfaction and is always available to his clients in order to keep them well informed.
