David L. Donnelly, Esq. - Bio

Mr. Donnelly joined the Johnson Sauer Legal Group in early May 2008 as an associate attorney. Mr. Donnelly's first experiences with family law occurred while he lived and worked for a short time in the former Yugoslavia where he worked closely with war victims and helped rebuild their lives though compassion, attention to detail and his expertise with the law.

After completing a rigorous legal academic program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. Donnelly began his career as an attorney at a small Denver area law firm where he fought for his client's rights.

While experienced in corporate law, employment law and environmental law, he has focused much of his career on helping families through hard times. He understands the diverse difficulties that families face and makes it his top priority to counsel and advise his clients while helping people make educated, informed and healthy decisions.

Mr. Donnelly was born in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for an undergraduate degree where he double majored and attained a Bachelors of Science. After he graduated, he moved to Chicago, Illinois and began work at a prestigious law firm where he solidified his career choice in the law, honed his experience, and specialized in investigating and making determinations related to legal ethics.

He moved to Colorado and continued to develop his legal career and believes that every attorney should continue to learn. His clients' problems are as diverse as his clients themselves and Mr. Donnelly believes that an attorney is only effective if he knows his clients and earns their trust.
