Mr. Sauer joined Johnson Legal Group, LLC as an associate in January of 2005. Since then, he has worked on many family law matters, helping clients to successfully restructure their families and serving to advocate for the client's best interests in a complex legal system throughout a difficult and emotional divorce, legal separation, or child custody issue. Few things in life are more rewarding than assisting a client with his or her family-related concerns and legal matters.
Mr. Sauer was born in Fort Collins and raised in Loveland, Colorado. He attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with Honor. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado in Boulder. In law school, he was one of 12 finalists in the law school's Rothgerber moot court competition.

Jason A. Freeman
Mr. Freeman joined the Johnson Legal Group, LLC as an associate in February of 2008. Having gained his law degree in May 2007 and passing that summer's Colorado bar exam with multi-state scores in the upper percentiles, Mr. Freeman brings a fresh look at legal issues to the table.
Beginning his legal career in Detroit, Michigan, where he attended Wayne State University School of Law, Mr. Freeman took advantage of the real-world, hands-on experience pursuing a legal education in Detroit had to offer. Through his internship in the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, he had the opportunity to conduct preliminary exams, binding-over 100% of the exams he tried on to trial.

Mr. Donnelly joined the Johnson Legal Group in early May 2008 as an associate attorney. Mr. Donnelly's first experiences with family law occurred while he lived and worked for a short time in the former Yugoslavia where he worked closely with war victims and helped rebuild their lives though compassion, attention to detail and his expertise with the law. After completing a rigorous legal academic program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. Donnelly began his career as an attorney at a small Denver area law firm where he fought for his client's rights.
While experienced in corporate law, employment law and environmental law, he has focused much of his career on helping families through hard times. He understands the diverse difficulties that families face and makes it his top priority to counsel and advise his clients while helping people make educated, informed and healthy decisions.

Ms. Vogel became associated with Johnson Legal Group, LLC in July of 2007, with over fifteen years of legal experience in the Denver area, focusing primarily on family law.
Ms. Vogel attended Gove Junior High School and East High School in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and returned to Colorado to attend the University of Denver. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating cum laude.
After returning to the Denver area to practice law, Ms. Vogel has focused primarily on the area of family law. She believes this area of law is particularly important as it is often a client’s first experience with the legal and court systems. As family law issues often involve a high level of emotional stress, she strives to guide clients successfully through the legal process in a caring and compassionate manner, while aggressively defending their interests. Ms. Vogel has helped many fathers take on a court system that they often feel is biased against them, and has enabled them to have a more active and equal role in co-parenting their children.
